HC Deb 31 May 1951 vol 488 c52W
Lieut.-Commander Hutchison

asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations whether all the outstanding details in connection with the deduction of Indian Income Tax from pensions to residents in this country have now been cleared up; and if he has any further statement to make on this subject.

Mr. Gordon-Walker

Discussions with officials of the Government of India on detailed arrangements for the working of the relevant provisions of the Indian Income Tax Act have begun. I am not yet able to make a further statement on the subject.
