§ Mr. Powellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has yet completed his consideration of the arrangements for reducing the minimum duty-free quantity of cigarettes and tobacco which could be despatched to British Forces in Korea.
§ Mr. JayIn view of the fact that postal orders may now be sent to the troops in Korea, that tobacco and cigarettes can be bought in the N.A.A.F.I. canteens there at duty-free prices, and that any arrangement to send small parcels of duty-free tobacco and cigarettes from this country would create administrative difficulties, my right hon. Friend has decided not to alter the regulations.
