§ Sir H. Lucas-Toothasked the President of the Board of Trade when it is intended to extend the period of opening hours of the Patent Office Library; and up to what hour, on which days of the week, and over how long a period of months.
§ Sir H. ShawcrossThe opening hours of the Patent Office Library were extended as from last Monday, 7th May. The Library is now open on Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., instead of 6 p.m. as previously. The opening hours on Saturdays remain unchanged at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is intended that the extended hours shall continue for an initial period of six months, during which the use made of the Library by the public in the evenings can be ascertained.
