§ Mr. GaitskellI assume that the hon. and gallant Member has in mind the inspections carried out by officers of the Inland Revenue in connection with valuation for rating. Their instructions are, where necessary, to make sketch plans—not scale plans—as a record of the accommodation and amenity, inasmuch as these are factors affecting the value for rating purposes.
