asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations in view of the fact that Major A. O. Quigley has been awaiting final sanction of full pension from Pakistan since May, 1948, what further representations His Majesty's Government propose to make to protect the interests of this British subject.

This pension has to be sanctioned by the Pakistan Government who are awaiting verification from the Government of India of a period of Major Quigley's service. Our High Commissioners in India and Pakistan are continuing to press the Governments of India and Pakistan for an early settlement.
