Following discussions between Dr. Stikker and the Secretary-General of O.E.E.C., and the Central Group of the International Materials Conference, the O.E.E.C. have been invited by the Governments of the United Kingdom, France and the United States to join the Central Group. This invitation was welcomed by the Council of O.E.E.C. at its meeting last week.
