HC Deb 26 June 1951 vol 489 c131W
119. Mr. M. MacPherson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is now the extent of B.C.G. vaccination against tuberculosis.

Mr. McNeil

B.C.G. vaccination is available to nurses and medical students, and, in most areas, persons who have been exposed to tuberculosis infection. Over 10,000 persons have been vaccinated in Scotland since November, 1949.
