HC Deb 21 June 1951 vol 489 cc67-8W
79. Mr. K. Thompson

asked the Minister of Health if, in view of the decision of the Liverpool Regional Hospital Board to limit the admission of expectant mothers to hospital to those cases where abnormal conditions are present, he will now consent to the free provision of maternity outfits to those women who choose to enter private nursing homes when home conditions are, in the opinion of their own doctors, unsatisfactory.

Mr. Marquand

No such decision has been taken, and I have nothing to add to the information I gave in reply to the hon. Member's Question of 19th April last.
