§ 66. Mr. Errollasked the President of the Board of Trade how he intends to remove the discrimination against imported Canadian Purchase Tax-paying rubber footwear caused by the bringing of identical and similar British made footwear into the tax-free utility scheme.
§ Mr. Bottomley:I hope that there may be an opportunity today during the Committee stage of the Finance Bill for an announcement which will indicate how we propose to deal with further consideration of this matter.
