§ 70. Sir H. Williamsasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury what change is to be made in the charges to Ministers for the private use of ministerial cars in view of the increase in taxicab fares.
§ Mr. JayNone. The increase from 1s. 1d. a mile to 1s. 2d. a mile already announced by my right hon. Friend in reply to the hon. and gallant Member for 99W Portsmouth, West (Brigadier Clarke), on 24th April already took account of the increase in running costs which have contributed to the increased taxicab fares.
