asked the Minister or Health what is the institutional accommodation for mental defectives under the age of 16 of the Birmingham Regional Hospital Board; and what is the number on the waiting list at the moment.

Figures of institutional accommodation for defectives under the age of 16 in this Region are not available. There are, however, 560 children under 16 in the institutions of the Regional Hospital Board, and 358 children are on the waiting list.
