HC Deb 28 February 1951 vol 484 c292W
69. Mr. Snadden

asked the Minister of Food what is the price paid by his Department for casualty sheep skins where the carcase has been condemned; and whether the price paid is a standard price.

Mr. F. Willey

There is a standard scale of prices, payable whether or not the carcase has been condemned, which varies from 2s. 3d. to 8s. a skin according to the size of the animal, the time of year, and whether or not the animal has been shorn.
