59. Mr. Colegate

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what action he is taking to implement the report of the committee appointed to review the organisation and administrative methods of the Inland Revenue Department.

The report is at present being considered by the Board of Inland Revenue in consultation with the appropriate staff associations.
