asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning whether he has now given further consideration to the possibility of exempting from development charge hostels erected for agricultural workers.

Mr. Lindgren

Yes. In future where a farmer erects a hostel for his own agricultural workers no development charge will be payable so long as the hostel continues to be so used.
