§ Mr. Ness EdwardsTemporary repair of all the damaged lines was completed on 30th January, 11,000 telephones in Northern Ireland, including 6,000 in the City of Belfast, and more than 35,000 telephones in the rest of the United Kingdom, were put out of order by the storm.
