HC Deb 05 December 1951 vol 494 c263W
68. Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General if, when the present series of United Nations broadcasts on the 464 metre waveband comes to an end, arrangements can be made for that waveband to be used for a resumption of the airmet weather broadcasting service.

Mr. Gammans

No. When the temporary use of the wavelength 464 metres for the United Nations broadcasts comes to an end, it will revert to its normal daytime use for the B.B.C. European Service.
