HC Deb 05 December 1951 vol 494 c261W
73. Mr. Peter Freeman

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General whether he will arrange for one or more public telephone kiosks to be installed in the Ringwood Estate, Newport, where no such facilities exist at present, in view of the fact that the nearest kiosk is over a mile distant.

Mr. Gammans

I understand that no part of the estate is more than half a mile from an existing kiosk. In view of our limited resources I regret that a new kiosk cannot be provided at present.
