HC Deb 04 December 1951 vol 494 c234W
114. Mr. Crouch

asked the Secretary of State for War how many houses have been built at Blandford Camp during the years 1948–49–50; how many he estimates will be built in 1951; and what is his target for 1952.

Mr. Head

In 1948 and 1949 no married quarters were built at Blandford Camp. In 1950, 32 quarters for other ranks were completed. This year 205 quarters for officers, other ranks and certain civilian employees have aleady been built and a further 15 are expected to be completed by the end of the year. Three quarters for senior officers remain to be built, on two of which work is expected to start in 1952.
