asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many British officials are employed by each British Government Department in Egypt.

Excluding staff attached to H.M. Forces and staff recruited locally, the total number of British officials employed by the British Government in Egypt on 1st October, 1951, was 151. The following list shows in which Departments they were employed:
