HC Deb 02 August 1951 vol 491 c273W
122. Sir W. Smithers

asked the hon. Member for Bristol, North-East, as Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, if he will ask Mr. L. M. Gardner, lately in their service, to appear before the Committee so that he can present his case against his dismissal, particulars of which have been sent to him.

Mr. Coldrick

It is presumed that the Question relates to a Mrs. Gardner, a former employee of the Kitchen Committee. Her case was considered during December, 1950, by the Committee consisting of Members of Parliament and members of the Kitchen Committee Staff, which was formed to deal with staff matters, and Mrs. Gardner was informed of the findings of that Committee.
