§ Mr. Peter Smithersasked the Minister of Local Government and Planning whether he is aware that the Southern Electricity Board have notified the Winchester City Council that they will shortly cease to connect any further houses to their supply; that this will dislocate local government and private building schemes in the area supplied by the Board; and whether he will consult with the British Electricity Authority to establish a basis upon which building and development may proceed.
