§ 74 and 75. Mrs. Castleasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (1) when the House may expect publication of a White Paper on the work of the Fifth Session of the United Nations General Assembly;
(2) whether, in order to secure proper observance of United Nations Day, 24th October, by the House of Commons, he will take steps to arrange a debate on that day on the work of the Fifth Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
§ Mr. Ernest DaviesA White Paper on the work of the Fifth Session of the United Nations General Assembly was laid before the House on 12th June. The question of a debate is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Leader of the House. Many of the matters with which the White Paper dealt have already been subject to discussion by the House in foreign affairs debates.
