§ Mr. McLeavyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether in view of the strong claims of the Bradford Technical College to university rank and the recent representations made to him by the Bradford Chamber of Commerce, he will request the University Grants Committee to receive a joint deputation from the Bradford education authority and the Chamber of Commerce so that the case may be re-examined in the light of the industrial needs of the city.
§ Mr. JayIt is open to the Bradford authorities to ask the University Grants Committee to receive a deputation at any time.
