§ 113. Sir H. Roperasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will give the names and experience of his advisers, both full-time and part-time, on matters relating to the development of metalliferous mining in Great Britain.
§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerThe main technical advice at my disposal on the long-term development of this industry is that which was provided to my predecessor by the experts of the Mineral Development Committee in their Report published in July, 1949. I have no specialised staff dealing with this matter, and as, to my regret, there is no early possibility of implementing the recommendations in that Report, I do not think it would be right to appoint any.
