HC Deb 23 April 1951 vol 487 cc18-9W
120. Sir H. Williams

asked the Attorney-General whether he will institute a prosecution for criminal conspiracy against Mrs. Caple and the two enforcement officers of the Ministry of Food for conspiring to induce butchers to supply meat in excess of the ration.

The Attorney-General

No. I am aware of no evidence whatever suggesting that Mrs. Caple has been guilty of criminal conspiracy with enforcement officers of the Ministry of Food or anyone else, or that any butcher was induced by her to supply meat in excess of the ration.
