asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of negotiations now being carried on with the Egyptian Government, he will make clear that there is no change in His Majesty's Government's declared policy that the future of the Sudan shall be decided by its own people.

Yes. This has already been made quite clear on a number of occasions.
