asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations what have been the numbers of emigrants from the United Kingdom to each Dominion and to Southern Rhodesia during 1950.

The number of emigrants by sea from the United Kingdom in 1950 was as follows (to the nearest thousand): Canada, 14,000; Australia, 54,000; New Zealand, 11,000; South Africa, 7,000; Southern Rhodesia, 3,000. I will send the hon. Gentleman the exact figures.
