asked the Secretary of State for War to what extent Z Reservists now called up are receiving alternative dates; and why an alternative date has been refused to Mr. S. Andrews, 161B, Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge, Records. Royal Army Service Corps, and Army Catering Corps, 3/Z/15/5.

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to my hon. Friend the Member for Dartford (Mr. Dodds) on 10th April. In the case of Mr. Andrews, it is not possible to arrange an alternative date and the circumstances are not considered to justify the cancellation of his training.

asked the Secretary of State for War what is the percentage of men over 40 years of age who have been called up under the Z Reserve recall.
