§ Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Minister of Town and Country Planning what steps are taken by his Department to ensure that so far as possible the plans for any new office or industrial building to be erected in urban areas should take into account the need to provide adequate parking and carriage facilities within the curtilage thereof with the object of avoiding unnecessary parking of vehicles in nearby streets.
§ Mr. DaltonThe examination of building proposals is the responsibility of the local planning authority, and I am satisfied they are fully alive to the need for providing adequate parking and garage facilities where possible.
