§ Sir W. Smithersasked the Minister of Health if the two circulars, No. 13 and No. 20, issued by the Whitley Councils, have received his approval, especially paragraph 3 (b) of Circular No. 20, which provides that members of a hospital consultative committee shall also be members of a trade union.
§ Mr. BevanYes. The proviso refers to members of a nationally recognised negotiating body. The application of the proviso is suspended for the present.
