§ 4. Mr. Houghtonasked the Secretary of State for Air what special arrangements he is making for Christmas leave to be granted to airmen in Germany who would have been home on demobilisation but for the extension of military service by a further six months.
§ Mr. A. HendersonIt is not proposed to make any special arrangements. It is open to airmen serving in Germany who are eligible for home leave to apply for such leave at Christmas, and leave will be granted where individuals can be spared and the necessary transport facilities are available. No discrimination will, however, be made between the airmen referred to in the hon. Member's Question and other airmen in Germany.
