Friend would include in the term "steel," but United Kingdom exports to Canada of iron and steel and manufactures thereof (Group IIIC of the Trade Returns) together with axles, tyres and wheels for railway rolling stock (from Group IIIS) were 153,000 tons during January-September, 1950, compared with 62,000 tons for the first nine months of 1949.
