§ Mr. StokesThis is already done. In addition local authorities are normally consulted in advance about proposals for the provision of local amenities such as entertainments or social facilities and often about important shops. Mr. Deedesasked the Minister of Works if he is aware that confusion exists in the minds of the local authorities and private individuals on the correct interpretation of conditions for licensing repairs and alterations under Defence Regulation 56A; and whether he will review the regulations so that their interpretation is placed beyond reasonable doubt.
§ Mr. StokesI am not aware of any general confusion that could be remedied by a review of the Regulation, but if the hon. Member has any particular point in mind I shall be glad to look into it.
