§ 95. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Minister of Health what was the United Kingdom production of streptomycin during the year 1949; what amount from this production was exported; and whether he will give similar figures for the first six months of 1950.
§ Mr. BevanI think that, in fairness to the manufacturers, the precise figures should not be disclosed. The rate of production in 1950 is about two and a half times that of 1949, and exports have increased by about 350 per cent.
