§ Mr. TomlinsonExamination dates for 1951 vary from late in May to July according to the examining body and the level of examination taken. The fixing of school holiday dates is a matter for local education authorities within a prescribed maximum total of holidays for the year. They are well aware of the need for a spreadover of summer holidays.
