§ Mr. BottomleyI understand that the owners have closed Welwyn studios because it will in their view be more economical to concentrate their production activities at the larger and more modern studios owned by them at Elstree. Neither the Welwyn nor the Elstree studios have been fully used during the last two years. While we very much regret the closure of Welwyn, it is difficult to oppose the wish of the Corporation to concentrate production in the more modern unit.
