Mr. H. WilsonIt is too early to say what effect the present prices of raw wool, if maintained, will have upon the retail prices of clothing and domestic textile goods in the year 1951. As regards the second part of the Question, we are, of course, continuing to exercise price control, and I propose to arrange for full discussion with the industries concerned with a view to seeing what can be done to minimise the effects on consumers of the recent rises in raw wool prices.
