§ Mr. RobensThe Authority continued the policies of the vested undertakings, subject to certain necessary interim measures, until they were able to frame a general programme with the assistance of the Joint Advisory Councils. My right hon. Friend has now received a statement of the Authority's programme and is considering it. I may add that this programme, which has been formulated in consultation with the trade unions concerned through the National Joint Advisory Council of the Electricity Supply Industry, is a comprehensive one covering a wide field. It appears to represent a substantial extension of the schemes which were in force before vesting date.
