§ Miss HerbisonAt 11th May, 1950, there were in Glasgow 1,498 persons with a diagnosis of respiratory tuberculosis and 26 with a diagnosis of non-respiratory tuberculosis on the waiting list for hospital treatment. At the same date, there were in Glasgow 537 people aged 60 and over waiting to be admitted to hospital accommodation.
