§ 68. Mr. H. Fraserasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what requests have been made recently by Jordan for a Royal Air Force training mission; and what has been the decision with regard to these requests.
§ Mr. Ernest DaviesRequests were made last year by the Jordan Government for assistance in training personnel in flying and maintenance of aircraft. In accordance with our Treaty obligation, this request was met by sending to Amman one flight-lieutenant and two senior N.C.Os. to give instruction in flying and maintenance of aircraft. This is, of course, not an R.A.F. training mission.
