§ 83. Mr. Goochasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware of the dangers to agricultural workers involved in the use of some of the new insecticides, particularly D.N.O.C., dinitro-orthocresol, and parathian, diethylparanitro-phenylthio-phosphate, both used as sprays for crop protection and deadly in their effect upon man: and if he will ban their use.
§ Mr. EdeThe Poisons Rules, which control the sale of these valuable insecticides, provide for a warning notice on the containers in which they are sold and I am advised that if reasonable care is taken, there is little or no risk "i their use.
