Commander Maitlandasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if he will arrange that officers and ratings proceeding on leave or travelling to take up an appointment and to whom warrants have been issued, may, at the discretion of the commanding officer, or some other specified person, be allowed to travel by the most convenient route and not necessarily by the cheapest.
