§ Mr. BevanI assume that my hon. Friend is referring to the findings of the Joint Negotiating Committee of employers and employees set up to consider the salaries of town clerks and clerks of district councils. These salaries do not require my approval and I have no information as to the extent to which the Committee's finding have been accepted or rejected by individual authorities.
