WilliamsAs the first new marketing scheme submitted since the war the tomato and cucumber scheme has raised a number of difficult points of principle which have prolonged its consideration and the usual discussions with the promoters and other interests concerned. I hope that the terms of the scheme will be finalised at a very early date and that it will not be long before it is submitted to Parliament for approval.
