§ Mr. GaitskellThe article did not claim novelty for the use of rayon mixed with cotton and wool: it did no more than 131W direct attention to a statement by the British Rayon Federation that new ways of mixing rayon fibres with wool and cotton had been discovered and that these new mixtures would compare well with textiles made from natural fibres.
