§ Mr. IsaacsDuring the 12 months ended 30th November, 1950, 1,138 Poles (639 men, 324 women, and 175 children) received assistance in their emigration under Section 7 of the Polish Resettlement Act, 1947. Four hundred and fifty-five of these emigrants went to the U.S.A., 374 to Canada, and 162 to Australia. The average cost per head was about £65.
