asked the Minister of Works if he can arrange for the stone in the Lobbies to be rubbed down or suitably treated to remove the white powder which rubs off on Members' clothes.

Mr. Stokes

The new stone work in the Lobbies is being constantly treated up to a height of six feet, in order to remove the white powder.

Mr. Bossom

asked the Minister of Works if he will have the stone work in the Ayes and Noes Lobbies washed so as to remove the dust that hon. Members find they get on their clothes.
