§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerStocks of coke held by merchants and consumers, other than domestic consumers, in the Midland Region amounted to 120,000 tons on 28th October, 1950, compared with 130,000 tons a year before. Undistributed stocks at gasworks in the West Midlands Gas Board area and at the Staffordshire coke ovens on the same dates were 49,000 tons and 132,000 tons respectively.
