§ Mr. EdeThe Report called for more rapid provision of police dwellings and more assistance from housing authorities. There have been special difficulties in providing police dwellings in London, but it has recently been possible to improve considerably the rate at which the construction of new quarters is being put in hand. My right hon. Friend the Minister of Health has asked housing authorities to give sympathetic consideration to the recommendations of the Committee.
