§ Mr. BevanThe list suggested by my hon. Friend would provide no accurate measure of progress and might be misleading. Some time must always elapse between the date of allocation and the letting of contracts, and due regard is paid to building progress in determining the date of entry into new contracts. Full information about building progress is contained in Appendix B of the Quarterly Housing Return.
